RCNTV Sports features an experienced lineup of broadcasters who have strong local connections and a love of sports that shows in every broadcast.

Gary began his broadcasting career with Twin County in 1972. Twin County eventually became C-TEC and then RCN. Gary holds the dual role of Director of Media Services and Sports Director/Broadcaster. He currently broadcasts about 140 sports and entertainment broadcasts a year, and oversees the scheduling of all sporting events for RCN.

Chris handles play-by-play for RCN sports, including baseball, football & basketball games and produces/hosts the station’s 60-minute live call-in show. Chris’s other responsibilities including reporting on local news & sports stories; producing commercials, voiceovers and promos; and generating videos on the internet.
John has been an RCN Sportscaster since 1997, when he joined Gary Laubach as color commentator for Lafayette basketball coverage on the Lafayette Sports Network.

Scott Barr began his broadcast career with RCN in 1985, and serves as the studio’s expert for wrestling and tennis broadcasts. In addition, he has been part of the broadcast team for a wide range of other sports including baseball, football, basketball, lacrosse, kickboxing, soccer and boxing. In 1997, Scott authored a book about the District XI Wrestling Tournament called “Wrestling Country,” and has been a part of many conference, district and state championship broadcasts. Each year, he also serves as a co-host of the Dream Come True Telethon. Scott lives in the Lehigh Valley with his wife, Melissa, and their four children, from pre-school to college age!

After spending nearly two decades as a high school basketball coach, Dennis has joined the RCN roster as a color commentator for basketball and high-school football games.

Jim was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. As a product of the District XI wrestling community, Jim wrestled at Parkland High School from 1980 to 1984, and then went on to wrestling for North Carolina State University. After graduating from college, Jim began a teaching and coaching career in the Parkland School District. At the high school level, Jim was an assistant coach at Parkland for eight years, and he held the head coaching position from 2000-2003. In 2004, Jim began his commentating career as a high school wrestling analyst fro RCN Sports. In addition to his position with RCN, Jim currently serves as principal at Macungie Elementary School and resides in Allentown with his wife, Katie.

Wilson and Lafayette graduate John Breidinger began his broadcasting career in August 2010 as the analyst for high school football with Chris Michael. John was a three-year letter-winner for the Wilson Warriors. He played freshman football at Lafayette until a career-ending knee injury cut short his time with the Leopards. He began coaching midget football in 1979 in Garland, TX and coached in Palmer and Forks. He is most proud of the fact that 11 of his former players were on the Easton varsity team in 1999. John and his wife, Janice, are the proud parents of two Easton and Lehigh scholar-athlete graduates, Jared and Jenna.
Tom Stoudt will team with Gary Laubach on RCN-TV this upcoming basketball season as the analyst for the high school games. Tom served 15 years as a basketball coach at his Alma mater, Dieruff High School in Allentown. He had also previously served as a varsity assistant and junior varsity coach. In addition, Tom was a very successful AAU boys basketball coach. He coached the Lehigh Valley Wildcats (2003-05) and the Lehigh Valley Heat (2007). He guided these teams to four consecutive national tournaments. Tom has been employed by the Allentown School District since 1994 as a Home and School Visitor. He and his wife, Nilsa, reside in Northampton. Tom has two sons, Tom and Travis, and two granddaughters, Sophia and Ella.
